United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Nigeria is pleased to announce the following vacancy for suitably qualified Nigerian candidates as follows:

 

National Measles Technical Consultants 

 

Purpose of the consultancy:

To provide techincal support to government and partners at state levels in the areas of planning, ;ogistics, training, monitoring and data management to ensure a high quality campaign nationally, with high coverage of at least 90% based on post-campaign coverage survet. S/he will work closely with UNICEF Health section, Govenment at State (States Ministries of Health/PHC Agencies) and LGA levels, and partners (including WHO and CDC) and facilitate effective effective coordination at all stages of the planning and implementation of the campaign.

 

 

Qualifications or Specialized knowledge/experience required:

•  University degree (Medicince and Public Health)

•  At least 5 years of professional work experience including planning and conducting campaigns (Measies, Polio, CSM, MenAfrivac, Yellow Fever)

•  Good Computer skills including utilizing spreadsheets and databases to monitor key campaign indicators.

•  Good understanding of Immunization systems and processes in Nigeria, especially within the context of campaigns,imcluding state and LGA technical committees and Emergency Operations Centres.

•  Experience working in security-compromised situation will be an advantage
