NATIONAL EAR CARE CENTRE
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE
POST OF MEDICAL DIRECTOR/CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Medical Director of the National Ear Care Centre, Kaduna State.
1. JOB DESCRIPTION
The Medical Director shall:
I. Serve as the chief Executive and Accounting Officer of the Hospital
II. Be charged with the responsibility for execution of the policies and matters affecting the day to day management of the affairs ofthe Hospital.
2. QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate for the post must possess the following academic/professional qualifications and personal qualities:
I. Be medically qualified and registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria with not less than 12 years cognate medical experience.
II. Possesses a Postgraduate fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or the West Africa College of
Surgeons in Otorhinolaryngology obtained not less than five(5) prior to the date of this advertisement.
3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
The terms and conditions of service is as defined For Chief Executive of Federal Parastatals and Agencies and as contained in the relevant rules and circulars.
4.TENURE OF OFFICE
The appointment is for a term of four (4) years in the first instance, and may be renewed subject to satisfactory performance and discretion of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

XIII. A statement of his/her own vision for the hospital in the next four (4) years in not more than two thousand (2000) words
XIV. Other activities outside current employment
XV. Names and addresses of three (3) referees two of whom are to forward confidential referee report on the candidate directly to the Head of candidate's academic, professional and managerial abilities as well as moral character and uprightness.
XVI. Applicants must be ready to support every claim with documental evidence (where appropriate) and bring the originals of all the credentials if invited for interview.
