Winners Medical Diagnostic And Research Institute located in Abuja is seeking to open a centre in Benein, Edo state and would need the services of a competent and experienced professional to fill the following position;
Position: Community Health Extension Worker/Nurse.
Job Location: Edo State - Nigeria.
Duties/Responsibilities:
. Effective management of Community Health Outreach programme of the Project in the state.
. Counseling on Adolescent health issues and HIV/AIDS.
. Treatment of common ailments and making appropriate referrals.
. Ensure proper and conducive clinic environment.
. Assess patient health problems and needs,
. Develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
. Licensing or registration required. Includes advance practice nurses such as: nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, certified nurse midwives, and certified registered nurse anesthetists.
Qualifications/Requirements:
. Minimum of a CHEW/Nursing License
. Minimum of at least 2-3 years work experience
. Good interpersonal relationship skills
. Excellent communication skills
