AWOYE HEALTH INITIATIVE is the brainchild of the 2016 Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative (CYFI) health team. CYFI is an initiative of the United States Consulate General in Lagos, with the aim of bringing together youth with exceptional skills and experience to design and implement projects that will have a positive impact on the Nigerian Society. The initiative is presently in its 5th year of existence.
AWOYE HEALTH INITIATIVE is currently on a maternal and child health intervention in Oworonsoki community, Lagos state. We are seeking volunteers for a 3-day house- to- house maternal and child health sensitization phase of the intervention.
It aims to educate caregivers of children under the age of 5 and pregnant women on child and maternal health and to improve their health seeking behaviour by providing and facilitating access to quality health information and resources that promote informed choices. How to Apply
