Job Descriptions
How can you make a difference?
Support the overall analysis of needs and priorities for the WASH sector and the definition of strategies to ensure affected population has access to appropriate excreta disposal and other sanitation related facilities and interventions; in accordance with national and international humanitarian standards.
Support the overall analysis of needs and priorities for the WASH sector and the definition of strategies to ensure affected population receives key information and has access to appropriate means for effective hygiene practices; in line with national and international humanitarian standards.
 
Job Requirements
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have:
An advanced university degree (Master's or higher) in Environmental Public Health, Programme Communication or Sanitation Engineering, or other field related to behavior change and communication.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in public health and one or more other relevant areas (e.g.: behavior change, health promotion, community development, education, etc.).
Experience and understanding of hygiene promotion and community mobilization in relation to water, sanitation and hygiene activities.
Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of a local language of the North East Nigeria is an asset.
