The world Health Organisation (WHO) said it will help Kebbi State Government to build the capacity of its health personnel to tackle polio and detect outbreak of other diseases.
The WHO Country Representative to Nigeria, Dr. Wondi Magegnehu Alemu said during a courtesy visit to Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi, that although polio was the major focus, WHO was also concerned about other diseases and the need for capacity building for their early detection.
