Nigerian Society of Neonatal Medicine (NISONM) regroups a body of Peadiatricians who care for Newborn babies and seek to improve the standard of Newborn care in Nigeria. Founded in 2008, by passionately committed Neonatal peadiatricians whose focus and area of activity is newborn care at every level especially at the community.

 

We create awareness on maternal and newborn health status; identify factors within the communities and households that impact on Newborn survival and disseminate such. Our activities are supported by our strategic initiative and operational plan overleaf (Strategy House).
