QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

In all cases, candidates are required to possess appropriate skills and orientation, particularly digital skills relevant to their respective disciplines, as well as a strong research orientation.

Professor

Prospective candidates for this post should possess a good Ph.D. with specialization in the intended discipline with a track record of academic and administrative leadership, mentoring, relevant publications in local and international reputable journals, and twelve (12) years post-qualification full-time teaching and research experience.

Associate Professor

Same as for a Professor, but with a minimum of nine (9) years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Senior Lecturer

Same as for a Professor, but with a minimum of six (6) years post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

Lecturer I

Candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree from a reputable University, with a minimum of three (3) years post-qualification teaching experience and evidence of scholarly publication.

Lecturer II

Ph.D. degree from a reputable University.

A master's degree holder in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification, full-time teaching experience is eligible to apply.

Evidence of publication will be an added advantage.

Assistant Lecturer

Candidates must possess a good Master's degree in the relevant discipline with a CGPA suitable to qualify the candidate for a Ph.D. programme.
