Are you ready to serve your country and build a career in the military? The Nigerian Air Force is now accepting applications for the Airmen/Airwomen Recruitment Exercise into the Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025. Here's everything you need to know to apply successfully.
GUIDELINES FOR APPLICATION
- Application is FREE and must be completed online at www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng.
- Applicants are strongly advised to read the requirements carefully before filling out the form.
- Upon completing the application form, applicants must print out the following documents:
- Acknowledgment Form
- Parent/Guardian Consent Form
- Local Government Area Attestation Form, which must be signed by one of the following:
- A military officer from the same state as the applicant, not below the rank of Wing Commander in the Nigerian Air Force or equivalent in the Nigerian Army or Navy.
- A police officer of the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police or above.
- A substantive Local Government Chairman or Secretary.
- A Magistrate from the applicant’s state of origin.
The attestation form must be accompanied by:
- Passport photograph of the signee
- Photocopy of the signee’s Driver’s Licence, National ID Card, or International Passport
- Note: These forms will not be generated for invalid applicants.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must be Nigerian citizens.
- Minimum height requirements:
- Males: 1.66 meters
- Females: 1.63 meters
- Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit, and meet the Nigerian Air Force medical and employment standards.
- Non-Tradesmen/Women
Requirements:
- Age: 18 to 22 years at the time of application.
- Education: Minimum of 5 credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than 2 sittings in WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB/NBAIS.
- Must possess secondary school testimonial.
- Tradesmen/Women
Requirements:
- Age: 18 to 27 years at the time of application.
- Education: ND/NCE holders must have at least lower credit from accredited institutions and a minimum of 5 credits, including Mathematics and English, in not more than 2 sittings.
- Drivers and other trades requiring trade test must possess:
- Minimum of 5 credits, including Mathematics and English
- Trade test certificate
- Valid driver’s licence (for drivers)
- Sportsmen/women must present evidence of professional experience, including certificates and medals.
- Applicants must be free of any criminal convictions by a court of law.
IMPORTANT DATES & CONTACT INFORMATION
- Online Registration begins on 14 October 2025 and closes on 25 November 2025.
- Zonal General Aptitude Test for successful candidates will be held on a date to be announced on the NAF Recruitment Portal.
- Only successful applicants will be invited for the Selection Interview.
