Job Title: Community Health Extension Worker / Nurse

Location: Asokoro, Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Nursing Staff is responsible for providing patient care in the pharmacy setting.
• This includes administering medications, monitoring patient vital signs, and educating patients about their medications.
• The Nursing Staff also works with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure that the pharmacy is operating smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Administer medications to patients according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to the physician or pharmacist.
• Educate patients about their medications, including dosage, side effects, and interactions.
• Assist with the dispensing of medications.
• Maintain patient records.
• Order and stock medications.
• Clean and maintain the pharmacy.
• Follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy or hospital setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to use the computer system to capture/retrieve patients' information.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
