We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Dentist

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Dentist to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care, including examinations, treatment planning, restorative procedures, and preventive care.
  • The Dentist will also educate patients on oral health practices and contribute to a positive clinic experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform dental examinations and diagnostics to assess patients' oral health.
  • Develop appropriate treatment plans based on diagnostic findings.
  • Carry out various dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals, and preventive care.
  • Educate patients about oral hygiene practices and dental treatments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in dental practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (BDS) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Current dental practice license issued by the Dental and Medical Council of Nigeria (DMCN).
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a dental practice setting.
  • Strong proficiency in various dental procedures and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong patient management and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in dental software and electronic health records (EHR) systems is an advantage.

Relevant Skills:

  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in examinations and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Empathy and a patient-centric approach to care.
  • Capable of performing both routine and complex dental procedures.
  • Knowledge of infection control standards and protocols.
  • Candidates must reside within Lagos Island or its immediate environs to ensure accessibility and timely attendance.
