• PhD or Fellowship in Medical field
• Minimum 12 years cognate experience
• 20 publications (5 in international journals, 5 as first author)
• Evidence of postgraduate supervision

2. Reader / Associate Professor

• PhD or Fellowship in Medical field
• Minimum 10 years cognate experience
• 15 publications (3 in international journals, 6 as first author)
• Evidence of postgraduate supervision

3. Senior Lecturer

• PhD or Fellowship in Medical field
• Minimum 8 years cognate experience
• 10 publications (3 in international journals, 3 as first author)

4. Lecturer I

• MSc with 6 years cognate experience or PhD with 3 years
• 5 publications (2 in international journals, 3 as first author)

5. Lecturer II

• MSc with 3 years cognate experience or PhD
• 6 publications (2 in international journals)

6. Assistant Lecturer

• MSc in relevant field
