This is to inform the general Public that applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the Post of the Provost of the College of Nursing Sciences Katsina.

 

Responsibilities

• The Provost shall be the Chief Executive, Academic and Chief Accounting Officer of the College and ex-Officio member of the Governing Council.

 

Qualification and Experience

The applicant must meet up the following qualities:-

i. He must be a Chief Lecturer, registered and licensed with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN);

ii. He must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Sciences plus MSC and PhD Degree in relevant field from a recognized institution;

iii. He must not be more than sixty (60) years of age; and 

iv. He must be an indigene of Katsina State.

v. Candidates must have minimum of eighteen years cognate working experience.

 

Terms of Appointment

• The Provost shall be appointed for a term of Four (4) years from the date of his appointment and he may be reappointed for another Four (4) years and no more.

 

Salary

• The remuneration package for the post of the Provost is a consolidated salary structure as obtained in other institutions.
