QUALIFICATIONS:  

The following are the qualifications and other requirements for the academic positions  

(a) Professor (CONUASS 07): Candidate must be holder of relevant Bachelors: Masters'and Ph.D Degree from recognized Universities years teaching, research and administrative experience in a recognized University with at least ten (10) years teaching. Candidate must possess demonstrable competence to provide academic leadership in his/her academic discipline. Candidate must also be specialists in advertised fields of study with evidence of at least fifteen (15) scholarly publications in learned, academic and peer reviewed journals in University and apex research/training institutes, plus evidence of successful supervision of at least five (5) Postgraduate dissertation and Thesis Masters/Ph.D Degree Candidate must provide also evidence of community service and be registered or registrable with the relevant professional/scientific bodies as applicable. Candidate must also have evidence of NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.  

(b) Reader (CONUASS 06): Candidate must possess the relevant Bachelors', Masters'and Ph.D Degree from recognized Universities with at least Eight (8) years teaching, research and administrative experience in a recognized University. Candidate must have evidence of at least twelve (12) scholarly publications in learned, academic and peer reviewed journals in University and apex research/training institutes, plus evidence of successful supervision of at least three (3) Masters/ Ph.D Degree. Candidate must provide evidence of community service and be registered or registrable with the relevant professional/scientific bodies as applicable. Candidate must have evidence of NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.  

(c) Senior Lecturer (CONUASS 05): Candidate must possess a good Bachelors: Masters' and Ph.D Degree from recognized Universities with at least five (5) years teaching, research and ad ministrativeexperience in a recognized University.Candidate must have evidence of at least eight (8) scholarly publications in learned journals in University and apex research/training institutes, plus evidence of successful supervision of at least three (3) Masters/Ph.D Degree. Candidate must be registered or registrable with the relevant professional/scientific bodies as applicable. Evidence of community service will be an added advantage. Candidate must have evidence of NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.  

(d) Lecturer-I (CONUASS 04): Candidate must be holder of relevant Bachelors and Masters' Degree, from recognized Universities. Candidate with Ph. D Degree will have an added advantage. Candidate must have at least three (3) years teaching, research and administrative experience in a recognized University. Candidate must also have evidence of at least five (5) scholarly publications in learned journals in University and apex research/training institutes (or three journal publications and participation in four (4) professional projects). Candidate must be registered or registrable with the relevant professional/scientific bodies as applicable. Candidate must have evidence of NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.  

(e) Lecurer-II (CONUASS 03): Candidate must be holder of relevant Bachelors' and Masters' Degree from recognized Universities.  Candidate must be registered with the relevant professional/ scientific bodies as applicable.  Candidate must have evidence of NYSC discharge or exemption Certificate. 

(f)Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 02): Candidate must be holder of Bachelors' and Masters' Degree in the relevant areas from recognized Universities. Evidence of publications in learned journals in University and apex research/training institutes is also required. Candidate must have evidence of NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.  

(g) Graduate Assistant (CONUASS 01): Candidate must be holder of Bachelors' degree (with minimum of Second-Class Upper Division) in the relevant fields from recognized Universities. Candidate must have evidence of NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
