Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, analyzing samples, and ensuring the accuracy of diagnostic results to support patient care.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples.
• Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure proper documentation.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality control procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and report findings to medical professionals.
• Assist in the development and implementation of laboratory policies.
• Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Maintains patient confidence by keeping laboratory information confidential.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a certified laboratory technician from a recognized school of Health Technology with a minimum of 2 years working experience in hospital settings.
• Valid certification and licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment handling.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be Computer literate.
