Available Positions & Requirements

1. Medical Officer (CONTEDISS 11)

• Must possess a good M.B.B.S.
• Registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
• NYSC Discharge Certificate required

2. Pharmacy Technician (CONTEDISS 06)

• Completion of a 3-year training program at a School of Health Technology
• Registration with the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology for Technician Cadre

3. Senior Nursing Officer (CONTEDISS 09)

• Good first degree in Nursing
• Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)
• Minimum of six years cognate working experience

4. Nursing Officer II (CONTEDISS 07)

• Good first degree in Nursing
• Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)

5. Staff Nurse/Midwife (CONTEDISS 06)

• Possess NRN or NRM or equivalent qualification
• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)

6. Intern Pharmacist/Youth Corps (CONTEDISS 07)

• Good first degree in Pharmacy
• Registerable with the Pharmacist Registration Board of Nigeria (PRBN)

7. Medical Laboratory Technician (CONTEDISS 06)

• Possess WASC
• Completion of a 3-year training in a recognized institution
• Registration with the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology of Nigeria

8. Medical Record Technician (CONTEDISS 06)

• Any of the following qualifications:
  
  • Associate Membership of the Association of Medical Record Technicians
  • Associate Membership of Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators
  • Certificate of Registration of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology

9. Community Health Assistant (CONTEDISS 03)

• Minimum of JSSC
• Completion of a 2-year training program in a School of Health Technology or approved Health Cadre
• Serving staff who completed the prescribed training also eligible

Important Notes

• All candidates seeking appointment to the Lecturer Cadre must acquire a Teaching Qualification in addition to their academic qualification.
• Minimum entry requirement for Lecturer Cadre is Second Class (Lower Division).
• Evidence of registration with TRCN is compulsory.
• Academic Master’s Degree in core teaching subjects is acceptable for Lecturer appointments.
• NYSC Certificate, ICT proficiency, and declaration of any physical challenges are required.
