We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Doctor

Location: Rivers

Job Summary

  • Management of the Organization’s Medical Services and Quality Assurance operations
  • Engage in risk assessment and mitigation functions  

Requirements

Education:

  • Minimum of First Degree or its equivalent in Medicine (MBBS)
  • Attendance of related courses / workshops / seminars etc.
  • Post Graduate Qualification in Public Health, Health Management, Health Financing or related fields, is an added advantage.  

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years post qualification cognate experience in a reputable HMO
  • Experienced at business development/marketing
  • In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and application of ICD-11 to coding, billing, and medical claims
  • Experienced in research and statistical analysis is an asset  

Skills / Abilities:

  • Sound knowledge of quality assurance, outcomes measurement processes and methodologies
  • Computer Literate; Proficient in Microsoft Office Software Packages
  • Excellent analytical and forecasting skills
  • Excellent writing skills to document, report and communicate findings
  • Ability to use authority in a respectful manner
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary management team without supervision
  • Ability to translate organization’s policies and service objectives into a quality assurance framework to achieve desired outcomes
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
