We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Lagos

 

Job Summary

Conducts experiments, analyzes data, and interprets results using scientific equipment and techniques, contributing to research, development, and quality control in various fields like medicine, chemistry, and biology.

 

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Sample Analysis:

• Process and analyze various samples, including blood, tissues, and fluids.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, such as microscopes, spectrometers, and centrifuges.

 

Data Interpretation and Reporting:

• Analyze data using statistical and other analytical methods.
• Interpret results and draw conclusions based on findings.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and publications of research findings.

 

Quality Control and Assurance:

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory procedures and results.
• Follow and maintain laboratory safety protocols.

 

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with other scientists and researchers.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

 

Other Duties:

• May involve training laboratory staff.
• May be responsible for maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.
• May assist in the development of new analytical methods.

 

Experiment Design and Execution:

• Develop and implement experimental protocols.
• Conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze results.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments and findings.
