Verus Consultants - Our client, a newly built world-class Medical Diagnostics Centre located in the heart of Uyo is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Monitor tests and procedures and analyze the chemical content of fluids.
• Ability to use laboratory equipment and software, including autoclaves, sterilizers, microscopes, and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
• Familiarity with quality control principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate records.
• Perform tests that help physicians diagnose and treat diseases.
• Must be able to perform, Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, and Immunoassay investigations.

Qualifications

• BMLS with at least two (2 - 5) years post NYSC experience.
• Must be registered with the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria (MLCN), and
• A holder of a current practicing license.
