90 Regular Recruits Intake for Trades/Non-Tradesmen and Women

 

Guidelines

- The application is free for interested candidates.  

- Applicants are to apply once. Multiple applications will lead to outright disqualification.  

- Interested candidates are advised to log on to https://recruitment.army.mil.ng to complete online registration.

The Nigerian Army wishes to inform the general public that the online registration for 90 Regular Recruits Intake Exercise for Trades/Non-tradesmen and women will commence from 29 September to 14 November 2025 for all interested and qualified candidates.

 

Method of Application  

- Apply online via the recruitment portal https://recruitment.army.mil.ng  

- Log on to the above-mentioned link using the username and password  

- Complete the application form, submit online, print a copy, and complete the Guarantor Form as appropriate  

- Candidates should ensure they submit their application online after printing their Photo Card. Failure to submit online will lead to disqualification  

- Ensure you bring duly signed copies of the following documents:  

 - Photo Card  

 - Declaration by Applicant  

 - Parent/Guardian Forms  

 - Certification by LGA Chairman/Secretary  

 - Certification by Divisional Police Officer  

 - Guarantor's Form

Recruitment into the Nigerian Army is Free

Basic Entry Requirements  

- Applicant must be single, Nigerian citizen by birth, and must possess National Identity Card (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN) Slip  

- The name and date of birth on the NIN must correspond with those on the BVN and all other credentials  

- Applicant must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit in accordance with Nigerian Army Standard  

- Applicant must be free of any criminal conviction by the court of law  

- Applicant must possess at least a minimum of 4 passes, including English Language, in not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB/NBAIS  

- In addition to the above qualifications, those applying as tradesmen/women must also possess a trade test/city and guild certificate  

- Applicant must possess a valid birth certificate endorsed by the National Population Commission, Hospital, or local government council, or an age declaration  

- Applicant must not be less than 18 and 22 years for non-tradesmen and women, while tradesmen and women must not be more than 26 years as of 30th December 2025  

- Applicant must not be less than 1.68 metres and 1.65 metres tall for male and female candidates respectively  

- Applicants must apply using their State of Origin and not State of Residence  

- Applicant must possess a valid Certificate of State of Origin

Names of shortlisted candidates for screening would be published on the Nigerian Army website for the awareness of all candidates. Shortlisted candidates would be expected to report to their respective states of origin for the screening exercise from 4–18 December 2025.
