The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as part of its statutory activities, organizes a conference biennially for Nursing Leaders in Nigeria. The conference brings together Nursing Leaders from both public and private sectors to discuss current challenges and developments that affect Nursing Education and Practice and to articulate the ways forward in confronting these challenges.
THEME:
The theme is: "Challenges of Nursing Education and Clinical Practice in Nigeria: Response of Nursing Leaders."
TARGET AUDIENCE:
The expected audience at the conference are:
- Heads of Nursing in various nursing institutions (public and private).
- Leaders in Academia.
- Nursing leaders in the directorate cadre across the Federation.
- Heads of Nursing in the military, paramilitary, police e.t.c.
REGISTRATION WORKSHOP FEE:
Early Birds: One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira only (N150,000) - 18th January – 17th March 2024
Late Birds: One Hundred and Seventy Thousand Naira (N170,000) - 18th March – 14th April 2024
Onsite Payment: Two Hundred Thousand Naira (N200,000) - 15th April 2024

PROPOSED CENTRE FOR NURSING LEADERS' CONFERENCE
The workshop will take place at Sandralia Hotel, No.1 Solomon Lar Road, Jabi, Abuja FCT (opposite National Health Insurance Scheme).
WORKSHOP DATE
The conference is fixed tentatively for 15th – 19th April 2024. The conference will be declared open by the Honourable Coordinating Minister of Health & Social Welfare, Professor Mohammed Ali Pate CON.
