Job Title: Optometrist Doctor

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist Doctor to join our eye care team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing vision problems and eye diseases, and prescribing corrective lenses or treatments.
• This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough eye and vision examinations for patients of all ages
• Diagnose and manage eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and vision therapy as needed
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery
• Educate patients on proper eye care, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals as needed
• Stay current with advancements in optometry and participate in continuing education

 

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
• Valid optometry license in Nigeria
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
