We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacist (Production)

Location: Shiroro Dam Road - Minna, Niger

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Job Summary

  • The Production Pharmacist will assist in the coordination and supervision of daily pharmaceutical production activities, ensuring that all operations comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
  • The role supports the production team in achieving efficiency, quality, and compliance targets.

Responsibilties

  • Assist in the supervision of manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced according to approved specifications.
  • Support the production team in daily planning, line clearance, and batch documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards across all production operations.
  • Monitor equipment cleaning, calibration, and maintenance activities.
  • Participate in in-process quality checks and report deviations promptly.
  • Maintain accurate batch manufacturing records and ensure timely completion of documentation.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control units to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Provide technical support to operators and other production staff as required.
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance technical and regulatory knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
  • 3 years post-NYSC experience in a pharmaceutical production environment
  • Must be a Registered Pharmacist (PharmD license or equivalent)
  • Sound understanding of GMP and production processes
  • Good communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
