The Rivers State Honours Advisory Committee is pleased to invite members of the public to nominate worthy individuals and organisations who merit recognition or have distinguished themselves or contributed immensely to the growth and development of Rivers State. 

Nominations are welcome in all areas of human endeavor, such as: 

1. Peace Promotion 

2. Voluntary, Social Welfare and Community Service 

3. National Service 

4. Health 

5. Education 

6. Science, Technology and ICT 

7. Arts and Media 

8. Business and Economy 

9. Sports 

10. Public Service 

11. Law and Justice

Nominations should be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to The Chairman, Rivers State Honours Advisory Committee, No. 8/10 Aba Road, Port Harcourt, from 10am to 3pm every week day. Nominations can also be emailed to [email protected] 

All nominations shall include the name, phone number and resume of nominee as well as a statement showing cause why the nominee should receive an award or be honoured. 

Deadline for submission of nominations is 3rd May, 2021.
