SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAMS AT AMADEUS UNIVERSITY, AMIZI.

Amadeus University. in partnership with the Dr. Godwin Nwabunka Foundation, Grooming Centre and Grooming Endowment Trust (GET), is pleased to announce three scholarship programs aimed at empowering sound, talented and deserving Nigerian students to pursue undergraduate studies for its pioneer class of the 2024/25 academic session. These scholarships, which collectively offer 50 fully funded, and 15 partial scholarships, cover tuition, service, and accommodation fees, enabling recipients to focus on their academic and career aspirations.

Dr Godwin Nwabunka Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship

The Dr Godwin Nwabunka Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship aims to enable and encourage students from low-income backgrounds to pursue full-time Undergraduate degree studies at Amadeus University, Amizi

Value: Fifteen (15) full scholarships, covering tuition, service, and accommodation fees.

Available to: Indigenas of Ikwuano Local Government Area, Abia State, Nigeria.

Eligibility

  • Candidates must be indigenes of Ikwuano Local Government Area, Abia State, Nigeria, and must fulfil all the following criteria:
  • Come from a low-income background, AND have accepted admission for a full-time Undergraduate degree at Amadeus University for the 2024/25 Session.

The Grooming Centre Undergraduate Scholarship

The Grooming Centre Undergraduate Scholarship aims to enable and encourage students whose parents are either staff or  active clients of Grooming Centre to pursue full-time undergraduate degree studies at Amadaus University.

Value for Grooming Centre Clients: Fifteen (15) full scholarships, covering tuition, service, and accommodation fees are available to students whose parents are active clients of the Grooming Centre.

Value for Grooming Centre Staff: 15 scholarships covering tuition fees only are available to students whose parents are staff members of the Grooming Centre.

Eligibility

Candidates must fulfil all the following criteria:

  • One parent of the candidate must be either a staff or an active client of the Grooming Centre;
  • AND have accepted admission for a full-time Undergraduate degree at Amadeus University for the 2024/25 Session.

The Grooming Endowment Trust (GET) Undergraduate Scholarship

The Grooming Endowment Trust Undergraduate Scholarship aims to enable and encourage students who demonstrate strong academic performance to pursue full-time undergraduate degree studies at Amadeus University.

Value: Twenty (20) full scholarships. covering tuition, service, and accommodation fees

Available to: Intending Nigerian undergraduates who have accepted offers of admission at Amadeus University Selection criteria: Academic Merit

Eligibility

Candidates must fulfil all the following criteria:

  • The candidate must be a Nigerian citizen;
  • AND have accepted admission for a full-time Undergraduate degree at Amadeus University for the 2024/25 Session.

NUC APPROVED PROGRAMMES

FACULTY OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES

  • Nursing Science
  • Medical Laboratory Science
  • Public Health
  • Physiotherapy

All scholarships are tenable for the normal duration of the selected degree programme if the student maintains the required grade point average.

Selection criteria for all scholarships: Financial need and academic performance  

Eligible programmes: All Undergraduate degrees.

Deadline for Application: Friday, November 15, 2024.

Selection

A selection committee will award the scholarship based on financial need and academic performance. Successful candidates for 2024/25 entry will be notified within a week after the deadline.
