Chevron Nigeria Limited (“CNL”), operator of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited/CNL Joint Venture (“NNPCL/CNL JV”), hereby announces the commencement of the 2026 NNPCL/CNL JV National University Scholarship Awards Scheme.

The scholarship seeks to support academic excellence and promote educational development among Nigerian undergraduate students in accredited universities nationwide.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates through the designated online application portal.

Eligible Categories

1. Standard Eligibility Category (General Undergraduate Applicants)

Applicants must be SECOND YEAR (200 Level) students in any accredited Nigerian University studying any of the underlisted courses:
• Agricultural Science
• Accountancy
• Business Administration/Economics
• Computer Science
• Environmental Studies/Surveying
• Geology
• Law
• Mass Communication/Journalism
• Engineering
• Architecture
• Medicine/Surgery
• Pharmacy

Eligibility Requirements 
Applicants must:
• Possess a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 on a 5.0 grading system.
• Have at least six (6) O-Level credits obtained in one sitting.

2. Special Needs Category (Blind / Visually Impaired Students)

Applicants must be SECOND YEAR (200 Level) students with visual impairment enrolled in any accredited Nigerian University.
Eligible visually impaired students are encouraged to apply under this category.

Eligibility Requirements 
• Must have a valid medical certification of visual impairment issued by a recognized medical institution or government-approved hospital.
• Possess a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 on a 5.0 grading system.
• Have at least five (5) O-Level credits.
