a) qualifications and experience

The right candidate for the job must possess

  • 1. A good bachelor degree in medicine/surgery (MBBS, MBBCh, MBChB, MD) with evidence of full registration with the medical and dental council of Nigeria
  • 2. Atleast twelve 12 years post qualification professional cognate experience and must have spent at least three years on the post of chief medical officer or chief consultant, special grade 1
  • 3. Ability to perform within the university system
  • 4. A good and practical knowledge of computer application
  • 5. A person of proven integrity

b) Salary and conditions of service:  CONTISS 15: N4,058,262 - 5,316,520 per annum

Conditions of service

The conditions attached to the position are as generally applicable in the Nigerian university system, the public service of Nigeria and as may, from time to time, be determined by the university Governing council. The appointment shall be on such terms and conditions as may be specified in the letter of appointment
