Eye Care Consultants Hospital is purely an Eye care centre with capacity for High Volume service, and facilities for clinical, diagnostic, medical, surgical and optical care to all categories of patients with eye problems irrespective of their race, creed, religion or socio-economic status. It runs a multi-tier-user fees system in order to accommodate a large majority of patients who may need one service or the other.

 

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Staff Nurse

Location: Iriebe, Obio Akpor - Rivers

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Job Summary

• We are looking to hire an experienced Staff Nurse to join the Hospital and render services to patients.
• In this role, you will be responsible for caring of patients, and administering treatment for patients.
• You are also required to supervise and assist with the daily administration of our facility.

 

Job Description

• Optimizing patient care.
• Performing health assessments and developing specialized treatment plans.
• Developing nursing practices, policies, and procedures.
• Considering differential diagnoses and making clinical recommendations.
• Nursing care for eye patients in the Outpatient Clinic, ward admission patients as well as post-operative eye patients.

 

Requirements

• A Nursing Degree / Certificate
• Qualified Staff Nurse registered with Nursing Council of Nigeria
• Extensive 2 years of experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.
• State-approved licensing to practice as a licensed and registered nurse (Practicing license required).
• Demonstrable experience in supervising, administration, and managing resources.
