The Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) in the implementation of its mandate to establish and nurture a Higher Education Book Development Culture has set up a Book Development Committee (BDC) to execute this mission.
The mission of this project is to address the paucity of reading and learning materials in Nigeria’s Higher Educational Institutions. Book scarcity has reached a crisis proportion as evident not only in the quantity of books, but also in the quality of locally produced books.
In view of this, the Book Development Committee (BDC) is hereby inviting quality manuscripts from scholars within the public and private tertiary education institutions in the following areas:
- Medicine
- Pharmacy
- Engineering and Technology
- Arts
- Social and management sciences
- Education
- Agriculture
- Veterinary medicine
- Life sciences
- Physical sciences
- Law
- Information and communication sciences
Those wishing to submit manuscripts should prepare them in accordance with TETFund Style Manual available in hard copy at all tertiary institutions’ libraries and at the TETFund website http:/www.tetfund.gov.ng
Potential contributors should note that all manuscripts are to be subjected to peer review. Only one (1) hard copy and soft copy of the manuscripts should be submitted within six months of this publications (i.e. before the 31st of May, 2021), to Education Support Services Department, TETFund Headquarters, Plot 6 Zambezi Crescent, Off Aguiyilronsi Street, Maitama, Abuja.
