Federal Polytechnic Oko hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of the Director, Medical Services. Duties
i. Taking overall charge of the Medical Centre
ii. Responsible to the Rector for the smooth running of the Medical Centre
iii. Coordinating the work and activities of subordinate staff at the Medical Centre
iv. Performing other duties as may be assigned by the Rector

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
i. An MBBS from a recognized institution and must be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, with 15 years post qualification cognate experience or a candidate with postgraduate medical qualification in medicine with at least 12 years post qualification cognate experience.
ii. Candidate must be able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines
iii. Candidate must present a current practicing license
iv. Candidate must be Information and Communication Technology (ICT) compliant
v. Candidate must not be more than 55 years as at the time he/she assumes duty

Terms of Appointment and Conditions of Service
i. This appointment is for a period of 5 years and is a single tenure
ii. Conditions of Service are as applicable in all other Federal Polytechnics
iii. Salary: CONMESS 7
