The newly established Federal College of Education (Technical), Keana, Nasarawa State, hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following Academic and non-academic staff Positions in the College.
Medical and Health Service Department
i. Medical Officer (CONMESS 02)
ii. Nursing Officer (CONMESS 7 & 8)
iii. Medical Laboratory Scientists (CONMESS 7 & 8)
iv. Medical Laboratory Technicians (CONMESS 7 & 8)
v. Medical Record Officer (CONMESS 6)
vi. Pharmacist (CONMESS 8)
Entry Requirements
i. Medical Officer (CONMESS 02)
Candidates should have an MBBS, MBCH with at least 2 years post-registration cognate experience or a Master's degree in a relevant field and should be fully registerable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
ii. Nursing Officer (CONMESS 07)
Candidates should have a minimum of a second-class honours degree in Nursing Science with at least 1 year cognate experience and should be fully registerable with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
iii. Medical Laboratory Scientists II (CONMESS 08)
Candidates should have a minimum of a second-class honours degree in Medical Laboratory Science with at least 3 years cognate experience or a Master's degree in a relevant field and should be fully registered with the Medical Laboratory Scientist Council of Nigeria.
iv. Medical Laboratory Scientist II (CONMESS 07)
Candidates should have a minimum of a second-class honours degree in Medical Laboratory Science with at least 1 year cognate experience and should be fully registered with the Medical Laboratory Scientist Council of Nigeria
v. Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist (CONMESS 08)
Candidates should have a minimum of a second-class honours degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with at least 6 years cognate experience or a Master's degree in a relevant field and should be fully registered with the Medical Laboratory Science of Nigeria.
vi Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist (CONMESS 07)
Candidates should have a minimum of a second-class honours degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with at least 3 years cognate experience or Master's degree in a relevant field and should be fully registered with the Medical Laboratory Science of Nigeria plus evidence of NYSC discharge certificate.
vii. Medical Records Officer (CONMESS 06)
Candidates should have a good National Diploma in Medical Records Technician with at least 3 years post-qualification cognate experience and should be fully registered with the Institute of Medical Records Technicians of Nigeria.
viii. Pharmacist (CONMESS 08)
Candidates should have a minimum of a second-class honours degree in Pharmacy with at least 2 years post-registration cognate experience or a Master's degree in Pharmacy and should be fully registerable with the Pharmacist Registration of Council of Nigeria.
