East Nigeria leading container terminal operator, West Africa Container Terminal Nigeria Limited (WACT), invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerian undergraduates students from Onne and Ogu Communities in Rivers State (Host Communities), for the 2023 Tertiary Institution Scholarship Programme. The Programme aims to promote academic excellence and leadership development of young Nigerians. within WACT's host communities. The Scholarship will provide funding for successful applicants from their second year to the completion of their degree programme.

 

Who Can Apply

Eligible applicants Must:

Be indigenes of one of WACT's host communities, Ogu or Onne, in Rivers State

Be Registered undergraduates in an accredited and approved University or Polytechnic in Nigeria.

Be a 200-level or ND 2 student, with a minimum CGPA of 2.5.

 

How to Apply

1) All Applicants must have a valid school Identification Card

2) All Applicants must have a valid personal email account(for consistent communication on their application).

3) To Provide the required personal and educational details, and upload scanned copies of the following:

Admission Letter,  

100 level result (for university students) or ND 1 result(for Polytechnic students),  

letter of Attestation Stamped by the department(for University and Polyrechnic Students)

O'level Result and A Level/OND/NCE Result(s) as applicable.

Letter of identification, Stamped and signed by the Paramount Ruler of the host communityies or the Councillor representing Onne or Ogu Communities at the respective Local Government Council or WACT's Community Relations Officer (CLO) for the host Communities

Note:

WACT DOES NOT DEMAND PAYMENT FROM APPLICANTS. The application form is free of Charge.

WACT DOES NOT ASSIGN Representatives/Agents to assist application to process applications.

Application Opens October 10th and Closes October 24th, 2023

Only Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an aptitude test in the selected centre.

Submission of false information will result to disqualification.
