Abt Associates, a global leader in technical assistance, program implementation, and research, seeks qualified candidates for an upcoming USAID·funded reproductive, maternal, newborn. and child health (RMNCH) project in Nigeria. Working closely with state level governments in the Northeast Northwest, and South, the project will focus on service delivery in family planning, malaria. immunization, nutrition, and maternal and newborn health. The project will work across the country and tailor itself to individual state and Local Government Area (LGA) levels. All positions are contingent upon project award and funding, anticipated in summer of2016.

Design and develop specific M&E plans and program-level indicators for activities in specified states. In collaboration with DFID, SLPs and other donor
programs, develop. track and monitor indicators related to project performance. Assist in the development and/or adaptation of M&E tools. metrics, resources and processes in key thematic areas across outputs of the program. COllaborate with NGOs, DFID, and other SLPs and line ministries to support the implementation of state M&E strategies. Support training of staff and clients in the use of M&E and KM produets, tools and resources. Maintain accurate up-to-date records and flow of information related to M&E, KM and the overall implementation of the program at the state level, including a web-based electronic archive.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Public Health or other relevant field.
- At least eight (8) years of experience in M&E and knowledge management, preferably for donor-funded public health programs.
- Excellent computer skills. including keyboarding, Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook), ACCESS. PowerPoint, SPSS, and health-related software packages such as DHIS.
- Significant experience in writing research for publication, presenting I disseminating research findings to public health and policy professionals.
