Established in 2007, Achievers University is duly approved and licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) as a private university. The motto of the University is Knowledge, Integrity and Leadership with a very clear vision to produce a total man, morally sound, properly educated and entrepreneurially oriented. Since the commencement of academic activities during the 2007/2008 academic session, the University has been highly commended for taking the right steps in the right directions. The first and second sets of ‘Achievers have graduated while the third set will conclude their studies this August. All our graduates participate in the NYSC Scheme without any hitch. This admissions exercise is the seventh in the series of admissions into the University.
Applications are invited from suitable and qualified candidates for admissions into the following University programmes, all of which are approved by the NUC.
BMLS Medical Laboratory.Science
A. UTME CANDIDATES
Candidates applying to Achievers University for admissions are required to have sat for the current Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with a minimum score as approved by NUC and JAMB. They must also obtain a minimum of five (5) credit passes at not mare than two sittings in WAEC (SSCE)/ NECO (SSCE). These should include English Language, Mathematics and three other subjects relevant to the course of study. All candidates are to purchase Achievers University admissions form, which is also available online.
B. Direct Entry Candidates
i.) Direct Entry Candidates (200 LEVEL)
As for above, but with 2 or 3 subjects at A Level or HSC or ND or NCE or ATS results in relevant discipline. Candidates are also expected to have purchase the Direct Entry JAMB form.
ii.) Direct Entry Candidates (300 LEVEL)
Candidates for this programme should be holders of HND in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Accountancy, ACA, ACIB, ACIS, ACIN and AC1T with five (5) credit passes at not more than two sittings in WAEC (SSCE)/ NECO (SSCE) These should include Engllsh Language, Mathematics and three other subjects relevant to the course of study.
C. Bridge Programme (Part Time)
As in B (ii.) above. The programme runs for six (6) semesters.
3. Duration Of Programmes
The Degree programmes listed above shall run for a duration of 4 or 5 years for UTME candidates, 2, 3 or 4 years for Direct Entry candidates and 3 years (six semesters)for the Part time Bridge Programme.

The University offers 50% of tuition fee as scholarship for the first 25 students that register for each of the following courses:

6. Screening Exercise
Candidates who made Achievers University their first or second choice in their UTME and Direct Entry forms should attend the screening exercise with N1, 000 screening fee.
