The High Life Church, Lagos alongside the Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria in Eti-Osa zone has presented Infectious Disease Control Kits and non-contact thermometers to help prevent Ebola Virus Disease in the area.
The church’s Head Pastor, Babatunde Carlton-Williams, said its parishioners collaborated with doctors in order to reach more people in the community.
Carlton-Williams noted that the initiative was to complement the efforts of the Federal and Lagos State governments in curtailing the ECD spread in the country.
Receiving the items, a member of AGPMPN, Dr. Efosa Aruede, said the facilities would be useful for the control of EVD as well as other infectious diseases.
