Job Title: Clinical Research Scientist
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
Translating scientific and medical information, establishing and maintaining peer relationships with key opinion leaders (clinical/research leaders in assigned therapeutic areas) and developing educational materials and support programs for personnel.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders and academic centers to ensure their access to current medical and scientific information.
Develop clear individualized stakeholder plans and a regional medical affairs strategy
Identify clinical investigators with research proposals that are consistent with our product development strategies and facilitate the investigator initiated research
Disseminate, review and present evidence-based data in an unbiased manner
Provide speaker training to health care professionals to support the best use of new therapies developed and commercialized.

Share field intelligence and competitor information with internal stakeholders and help to create actionable plans
Contribute to the identification of appropriate clinical investigators and facilitates placement into sponsored clinical trials.
Requirements/Qualifications
Ph.D, Pharm.D, MD, in a healthcare or scientific discipline.
3+ years industry experience
A high level of scientific expertise with a proven ability to interpret and effectively communicate complex clinical data.
Strong strategic thinking ability, operating with a sense of urgency to respond to business needs in a timely manner and solid business acumen.
Excellent interpersonal skills for successful cross-functional collaborations with internal partners is essential.
Demonstrated independence in managing assigned projects within established timelines.
Familiarity with all aspects of clinical trial processes.
Knowledge and adherence to local regulatory agency policies, Good Clinical Practices (GCP) guidelines.
