DISCLAIMER: Heartland Specialist Hospitals Recruitment Scam Alert

We have recently been made aware of Fraudulent recruitment emails been sent out to unsuspecting healthcare professionals by an individual Dr. christopher mmadu claiming to be recruiting for "Hartland Specialist Hospitals" located at plot 401 cadastral zone c10, off obafemi awolowo way, jabi district garki, abuja, 
 
We had innocently advertised the said vacancy on 20th november 2013. This fraudulent offer of employment request applicants to pay five thousand naira as part of the application process. 
 
According to the offer letter, this fee encompassess the expenses for feeding, accomodation, transportation and lab coat. The individual claim to be funded by unicef officials and have foreign experts. Applicants are required to submit their application in less than a week of recieving their email and application forms.
 
Our investigation has revealed that the said organization is not located at the said address and rather hosted on a free web hosting platform gbno.com
 
Please take note that such activities are not authorized by nor linked in any way to Hartland Specialist Hospitals. All such activities must be regarded as criminal, unauthorized use of brands and names with the intent of starting a "recruitment scam."
 
Please don’t answer to this offer and if you already have applied, discontinue all correspondences with this individual.
 
Also please note these common warning signs that an employment offer is or maybe fraudulent:
Request for payment of a preliminary employment processing fee
Request for payment for mandatory pre-employment training 
Without any interview process, receipt of an email confirming employment
E-Mail messages from a webmail account. Pay particular attention if the "From:" address is different from the address to which you are to reply.
 
Until it is certain that both an employer and an opportunity are genuine, never release personal information or upfront payments. If you have disclosed any of the above information to an individual or website you do not trust, please consider reporting this to your local law enforcement agency.
