The outbreak of Ebola virus in Nigeria has made Nigerians to significantly improve their hygienic practices.
Vice-Chancellor of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Professor Sulaiman AbdulKareem, while briefing newsmen in Ilorin, during the institution’s convocation ceremony, said people are now “cleaner than before.”
He said many Nigerians are now more conscious in terms of hygiene.
“The virus has made us all cleaner than before. Now, most people endeavour to keep their hands away from their mouths, unless they are properly washed.
Having said that, my prayer is that before students return from their various homes, the virus would have been completely wiped out.”
