Out of 5200 applicants that sat for the Cross River State Primary Health Care Development Agency, CRSPHCDA exams, 1700 have been shortlisted to attend the interview this April. This was made known on Thursday by Dr. Betta Edu, Director General of the CRSPHCDA, in Calabar, Cross River State.
Dr. Edu said the interview will commence next week Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019 at the CRSPHCDA head office in Calabar, where the final 1000 will be picked.
She said the interview will begin with the Southern Senatorial District, followed by the Central and then the Northern Senatorial District, in that sequence. “The interview for each District will last for 3 days each.”

The DG said the selection of candidates for the job interview was done based on merit, so as to strengthen the health sector. “A total of 7300 people applied for the health job, 5300 (most were not qualified, because they have nothing to do with the health sector) were shortlisted to sit for the exams which held last month.
“After the first exams, we diligently selected 1700 to attend the interview which will commence today, Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019, beginning with the Southern Senatorial District, followed by the Central and Northern Senatorial District, respectively.
“After the interview, we will then select the 1000 for full employment. Everyone that merits the job will have it on first placement. It’s about human lives, so, there’s no compromise,” Edu said.
