Habits That Make You Look Younger

Everyone wants to look seven years younger, and a few small lifestyle changes can set you on your way to actually achieving that youthful goal.
Eat more produce: Twenty-five per cent of people admit that they don’t eat any produce. That’s a major mistake. You’re missing out on all those anti-ageing nutrients.
Learn how to locate sugar: Sugar is a skin-wrecker. You want to look for words like honey, agave, brown rice syrup, fruit juice concentrate, evaporated cane juice. Some things that sound really innocent are actually sugar, and your body processes all sugar the same way.
Don’t skip meals: Even if you’re not super hungry in the morning, have breakfast. It’s just something to get your metabolism revved up. Many people make the mistake of skipping breakfast because they think they’re saving calories, but they just end up eating more calories later to compensate.
Snack strategically: If you’re snacking more than 600 calories a day, you need to re-evaluate. Snack on something that has fibre and protein because these are things that actually help curb your appetite.
Track your progress: Keep track of progress and hold yourself accountable.
Avoid liquid calories: Your body doesn’t register liquid calories, so it’s basically like you haven’t eaten. For example, a glass of orange juice has about twice as many calories as an orange but none of the fibre, and that’s the part that fills you up.
Substitute sweets with better choices: When the candy bar is calling your name, choose an option that tastes similar but is better for you, like a diet bar. Substitute sweets with something that’s similar in taste and texture, but not as unhealthy.
