The HC3 Nigeria State Coordinator will provide leadership and technical asistance to programmatic, advocacy, community engagement, M&E and other SBC techincal inputs to all aspects of the program in sokoto state. S/he will report 
 
directly to the HC3 Nigeria deputy director - family planning and work in close consultation with the HC3 Nigeria Senior technical advisors for M&E and Social mobilization and the borader hc3 FP Nigeria HQ Team. While the primary focus 
 
of the activities will be on family planning, the state coordinators will also be working to implement HC3 Malaria related activities in the state as directed by the HC3 Chief of party
 
Job Title: HC3 Nigeria State Coordinator (1 Position)
Reports to: Deputy Director Family Planning
Location: Sokoto State
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
In addition to the overall techincal inputs to the project as described above, specific duties and responsibilies include the following
- Assist deputy director with the development and implementation of the advocacy, demand generation and service provider components of the project in the state as assigned
Assist with the establishment and maintenance of effective relationships at the State level with health partners, implementing partners, State MOHs and other key stakeholders, with guidance from and in collaboration with the Deputy 
 
Director and Chief of Party.
ï‚· Coordinate closely with the HC3 Nigeria HQ Team
ï‚· Assist with the development and writing of timely program reports on a quarterly and annual basis and disseminate program success stories, and other reporting duties as assigned.
ï‚· Assist with design and oversee implementation of the all project activities at the State level, including monitoring and evaluation system.
ï‚· The position will be based in Sokoto State capital.
ï‚· Travel to project focal areas within the state is expected to be approximately 30% or more.
ï‚· Perform job duties/responsibilities in support of CCP's Mission and Values, as appropriate.
ï‚· Other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor or Chief of Party.
 
Education and/or Experience
ï‚· Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Public Health, Social Science, Humanities, other) required. Master's Degree or higher highly valued
ï‚· Minimum of 5 years' experience managing a Family Planning or related Reproductive Health programs in Nigeria. Advocacy, SBCC and/or Community Mobilization expertise highly valued.
ï‚· Excellent communication, and organizational skills; and ability to influence and facilitate advocacy agendas at LGA and State level
ï‚· Must be fluent in English and, given the geographic focus of the project, fluency in Hausais highly desirable.
ï‚· Ability to travel and work in difficult settings, including remote rural areas of Nigeria.
