House of Representatives Committee on Health Institutions Invitation to Public Hearing/ Call for Memoranda

The House of Representatives Committee on Health Institutions cordialy invites the general public and stake holders to a public hearing ont he following bills scheduled for Thursday 3rd November 2016 at Room 028, House of Representatives, National Assembly Complex, Abuja by 11am prompt:
 
1. Bill for an Act to establish the dietitians Council of Nigeria to regulate the profession of dietetics; and for other related matters (HB.547/2016);
2. A motion on the need to build mobile clinics along the Nation's highways; and for other matters connected therewith, (HR 192/2016);
3. Urgent need for the federal ministry of health to reverse the deplorable state of the stem cell transplantatin center in UBTH Benin; The only center for the cure of sickle cell disease in Nigeria (HR.62/2016)
4. Need to conduct a comprehensive investigative hearing towards restructuring, reorganization, Refinancing and Repositioning of the National hospital Abuja for better and efficient service delivery; and for other matters connected thereto, (HR.36/2016)
5. Urgent need for completion of Abandoned projects at the university of uyo teaching hospital to meet the health care delivery needs of nigerians in Akwa ibom state (HR.40/2016)
