@ICNurses Request for Proposal For The Development Of A Business Plan And Model For The Implementation Of ICN Global Alliance

Posted on: Thu 18-01-2018

Executive Summary
The International Council of Nurses (ICN) is a Federation of over 130 National Nursing Associations representing more than 20 million nurses. ICN is recognised as the global leader for the voice of nursing and has made major contributions internationally on health and health systems policies.

ICN is seeking to implement a new framework for establishing and maintaining a range of collegial relationships (“global alliance”) in order to improve the quality of our services to our members and our advice to global health policy makers. A framework has been developed and approved by the Board but the details of implementation have not yet been developed.

ICN is seeking to outsource the development of a business plan (including a pricing model) for the implementation of our initiative on Global Alliance. ICN is seeking a project manager or team with experience in business planning in a range of different contexts. Use of a multi-disciplinary team approach would be useful. The project team needs to include a knowledge of the health sector and how it operates in an international context. An understanding of the nursing workforce key stakeholders would be desirable, but not essential.

Deliverable: the development of a robust and sustainable business plan and the platform and infrastructure for the implementation of ICN’s vision of Global Alliance that will ensure that partners will add value to ICN’s organisation and its members.

Rationale: To implement a framework for a global alliance to provide a range of appropriately qualified partners for ICN
