The Kano State Ministry of Health, via its Twitter handle on Monday confirmed that two persons have tested positive to coronavirus. However, the details of where and how the new cases emerged were not stated.
When contacted, the Commissioner for Health, Dr Aminu Tsanyawa, who also confirmed the development, promised to brief the press soon as all the details were still being compiled.
Recall that Kano State recorded its index case on Saturday.
