Vacancies are available for Katsina State indigenes into Direct Short Service (Medical) Cadets of the Nigerian Air Force.

This is contained in a flier dropped by Wing Commander Hajara Bashari, the Director Nursing, NAF Headquarters, and Leader of the Advocacy Team on NAF special enlistment of female Medical Personnel,  after the team's courtesy visit on the Secretary to the Government of the State, Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa.

According to the flier, the Nigerian Air Force has embarked on special enlistment of graduates and post-graduates with medical background for training as Direct Short Service Cadets.

However, interested applicants must possess a degree or post-graduate Certificates in Medical Consultant, General Medicine, Radiography, Dietitians/Nutrition, Medical Lab Science, Medical Physiotherapy or Health Information Management.

Other disciplines required include Environmental Health, Community Health, Optometry, Dental Therapy, Dental Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Psychology, Medical Physiology or Veterinary Surgery.

In addition, only candidates with second class upper or upper credit in the aforementioned fields are eligible to apply.

Applicants must also be between the age of twenty and thirty by 30th September, 2020 and not more than 40 years for Consultants.
