The Lagos State government has activated an Ebola reporting system to facilitate early identification of suspected Ebola cases.
An alert management system to receive alerts calls from the community regarding suspected Ebola cases has been put in place in addition to the establishment of a website www.ebolaalert.org
The State Commissioner for Health Dr Jide Idris also said in recognition of the need to correct the rumours and misinformation being bandied about, communication materials are being distributed in addition to the various platforms like facebook: www.facebook.com/EbolaAlert, Twitter: @EbolaAlert and Mobile app: EbolaCheckUp.ebolaalert.org.
