Representing the Chief Medical Director (CMD), LUTH, Christopher Bode, the Head of Department of Surgery, LUTH, Prof. Suleiman Giwa said the purpose of the workshop is to bring experts around the globe to train surgeons in the six-geopolitical zones in Nigeria on how to do the keyhole operation.
Giwa said, “Laparoscopic surgery started many years in Europe and America. Keyhole surgery as we call it is a modern surgical technique in which operations are performed through small incisions in the skin.”
