The Matrix Energy Limited is a wholly indigenous and rapidly growing enterprise in the downstream sub-sector. Applications are invited for the 2015 Matrix Energy Undergraduate Scholarship and Empowerment Awards for indigenes of Aja Etan, Egbokodo, Ifiekporo, Ijala (Ikeren) communities in Warri South Local Government of Delta State.

 

Matrix Energy Undergraduate Scholarship and Women Empowerment Awards 2015

 

 

Criteria for the Awards:

•  The awards are open to all indigenes of the communities irrespective of place of residence (with the notable exception of previous beneficiaries of the women empowerment award).

•  Applicants must be known to the communities they represent.

•  Additional Information for the Scholarship Award

•  Applicants must be registered students of tertiary institutions in Nigeria i.e. Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.

•  Duly qualified applicants will receive by return mail a registration/examination number and invitation to write an aptitude test. The test will be based on WAEC/NECO SSCE syllabus.

•  Applicants are required to present original and copies of the underlisted documents at the test venue:

•  Registration/Examination Number for the test

•  WAEC or NECO ‘O’ Level result slip or computer printout

•  Print out of JAMB Result

•  Admission Letter to tertiary institution

•  Current Student Identity Card

•  Academic Transcript (where applicant is in 200 Level and above)

•  Letter from HOD

•  Letter of recommendation signed by the Chairman of the community

•  Applicants without any of the documents highlighted above will not be allowed to write the test.

•  All studentship and academic records shall be independently verified.

•  Beneficiaries of previous awards who desire to continue as Matrix Scholar must re-apply. They are not required to sit for the test.
