Notice to Qualified Academic Teachers/Consultants on payerment of practising licenes as pre-condition for success of Institutions at MDCN's Accreditation/Reaccredtation

 

The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria hereby notifies teachers of Colleges/Faculties of Medicine as well as Consultants at Teachinf Hospitals, Medical Centres and Specialised Hospital who have consistently not been paying their annual practising fees to the Council that their action is unethical and illegal.

 

 

In the light of the above, the Council has resolved that, henceforth, the medical practitioner or dental surgeon in charge of the institution shall be required to present copies of annual practising licenses of all academic/consultabt staff of the institution who are medical practitioners or dental surgeons before the accreditation exercise will commence.

 

The Council is out to strictly apply this rule.
