Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria Tribunal Suspends Four Doctors

The Medical and Dental Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal has ruled in the case of Chairman Medical and Dental Practitioners Investigation Panel vs Dr. Obumneme Udezue. 
The Tribunal ruled that He is guilty of violating Rules 49.1(a), (b) &(c) of the Code of Medical Ethics in Nigeria 2008 and as such conducted himself infamously in a professional respect. 
He has been suspended from the Medical profession for a period of three Months. 
The order takes effect 28 days after the ruling if there is no appeal pending.
The Tribunal also ruled in the case of the Chairman of the Medical and Dental Practitioners Investigation Panel vs
1. Dr. Temitope Gabriel Onile
2. Dr. Nzurumuike Charles Nnanna
3. Dr. Danmusa Ademu Ochalla
4. Dr. Omotayo Oluwadamilola Akinro
The Tribunal ruled that the respondents are guilty of violating Rules 43 and 29 , 29.4 (c) and (f) of the Code of Medical Ethics in Nigeria 2008 and as such have conducted themselves infamously in a professional respect. 
The Tribunal ordered that the doctors be suspended from the Medical profession as follows:
1. Dr. Temitope Gabriel Onile three months
2. Dr. Nzurumuike Charles Nnanna six months
3. Dr. Danmusa Ademu Ochalla six months
4. Dr. Omotayo Oluwadamilola Akinro six months. 
The orders comes into force 28 days after the ruling if no appeal is pending.
